OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank enters the market for the delivery of products from stores with the SberMarket service.  For a bank whose strategy involves turning into an IT company, this is not the first project in the field of online trading and foodtech.

 The new service has earned thanks to the support of Instamart.  Sberbank plans to launch product delivery in all cities where a partner operates.  It is not yet known with whom else of the retailers Sberbank will cooperate. The SberMarket service is currently working in test mode only in Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar.

 In July, Sberbank announced that it would create on a parity basis a joint venture with MRG, which would become the “leading Russian platform” for food and transport services.  Of the well-known services on this platform, it is expected that there will be Food Club Delivery Club and taxi Taximobil.
