OREANDA-NEWS. Andrey Danilenko, President of the SVOYO Agro-Food Fund, said in an interview with NEWS.ru that a significant shortage of milk in Russia is not expected. However, according to him, there is currently a serious problem with logistics and supplies, many suppliers simply have difficulties with ingredients and packaging. First of all, we are talking about fruit fillers and components for packaging.
Danilenko noted that now there is also the issue of reconfiguring capacities, work and adjusting the product range. For milk producers, the issue of feed additives and imported genetics is now relevant, so a reconfiguration in terms of supplies is being carried out in a very active mode.
Now no one will make any forecasts, because there are factors beyond the control of manufacturers that arise almost on a daily basis. There is now very active interaction with the government and the Ministry of Agriculture, everything possible is being done to ease the import regime, administrative barriers as much as possible, and work is underway around the world in terms of finding analogues, alternative suppliers, and, most importantly, new logistics opportunities, — Danilenko said.
According to the expert, a large shortage of dairy products in Russia is not expected. In any case, it "will be on the shelves."
