OREANDA-NEWS Russian importers began to buy fish in Argentina instead of the United States and Canada due to sanctions, the republic's ambassador to Moscow Enrique Ignacio Ferrer Vieira told RIA Novosti.

"Russian importers also told us that as a result of Western sanctions, they stopped buying hake from the United States and Canada and switched to fish from Argentina. According to them, the hake from Argentina is even of higher quality," he said in an interview with the agency.

According to the Moscow Mayor's office, the finals of the high-tech competition were held as part of the All-Russia Championship movement for professional skills and the Professionals Championship.
