OREANDA-NEWS Residents of the Chinese province of Chengdu were presented with Russian cosmetics at the Made in Russia festival and fair, the Russian Export Center (REC, part of VEB.RF) reports.
"During the week, from November 11 to 17, the beauty corner "Beauty is created in Russia" worked at the Made in Russia festival-fair in Chengdu. The visitors of the festival were able not only to evaluate the quality and variety of the products presented, but also to take part in tastings, as well as order Russian cosmetic products at the national Made in Russia store on the JD marketplace, one of the leading Chinese online platforms," the message says.
To attract an audience among subscribers of the official "Made in Russia" account, a raffle of beauty boxes "Made in Russia" was launched on WeChat REC. Anyone could compete for it by simply filling out a short form on their WeChat. The first winner was announced during the streaming (live broadcast with the possibility of making an instant purchase), which was watched by more than 500 thousand people. It was held with the participation of Veronika Nikishina, General Director of the REC. The remaining winners will be determined in the coming days. The promotion will last until the end of the festival.
The presentation in Chengdu became part of the large-scale REC beauty box project "Made in Russia", implemented with the support of the Federation Council. This project, first presented at the IV Eurasian Women's Forum (EZHF), is aimed at increasing awareness and stimulating sales of Russian cosmetics in international markets.
"Russian cosmetics are not only of high quality, but also a reflection of the unique traditions and advanced technologies embedded in each formula. It is important to note that all companies whose products were included in the first beauty box are holders of the "Made in Russia" certificate. We are confident that the project will allow Russian cosmetics manufacturers to find their consumers abroad: someone to take the first steps in export, and someone to make a qualitative leap in sales," Nikishina said at the presentation of the project at the EZHF.
Russians can also appreciate the beauty box with Russian export cosmetics. As part of the EXPORT ONLINE'24 online conference, which will take place on December 5, a raffle among Russian entrepreneurs is planned. All information is posted on the official account of the REC in the Telegram channel "Russian Export News".
