OREANDA-NEWS  Russia is interested in the presence of Chinese automakers in the Russian market and would like to expand cooperation. This was stated by President Vladimir Putin at a press conference in Beijing following the results of the Russian-Chinese talks, Interfax reports.

According to him, in the automotive industry, "Chinese friends are achieving clear, quite obvious successes and competitive advantages." The Head of State stressed that the Chinese automobile industry is developing due to fair competition.

At the end of March, Maxim Sokolov, President of AvtoVAZ, called for something to be done with the expansion of the Chinese automotive industry, because manufacturers have already begun to enter the car sector, which is a priority for the Russian company, and offer more favorable conditions.
