OREANDA-NEWS Vladimir Putin extended the food embargo against countries that have adopted anti-Russian sanctions.

The corresponding decree can be read on the official Internet portal of legal information.

Restrictions on the importation of products will be valid until the end of 2020.

Recall that in August 2014, the President of Russia signed a decree prohibiting the import into Russia of certain types of agricultural products, raw materials and food from the following countries: the United States, European Union countries, Canada, Australia and Norway.

The ban applies to meat, sausages, fish and seafood, vegetables, fruits, dairy products from these countries.
