OREANDA-NEWS. Petersburg Metrostroy OJSC will conclude a $ 7 billion contract for the construction of booster tunnels of the Moscow metro between the Mozhayskaya and Davydkovo stations.

 "Metrostroy" was the only participant in the tender procedure, so a contract will be signed with it.

 The initial price of the lot was 7.1 billion rubles: the company offered 100 million rubles less.  Unlike Petersburg, where the metro is built over the years, this time, Metrostroy has only 480 days.

 Metrostroy has many financial problems.  The company has repeatedly delayed wages to workers.  To this day, complaints of wage arrears have been received from some metro builders.  At the beginning of 2019, Smolny also broke all contracts with Metrostroy due to constant delays in the delivery of a new metro station.

 Later, the contractor was allowed to finish the work started.  By agreement with the city, Metrostroy must hand over to the Frunzensky radius station on September 1.
