L'Occitane Increased Its Net Annual Income by 57.5% and Set a New Record

OREANDA-NEWS The French cosmetics manufacturer L'Occitane International SA increased its net profit by 57.5% at the end of the 2022 financial year, which ended in March, to a record 241.9 million euros against 153.6 million euros a year earlier. This is stated in the company's report.
L'Occitane's annual revenue rose by 16.7% - to 1.81 billion euros from 1.55 billion euros. Excluding changes in exchange rates, the rise was 14.6%. Like-for-like sales increased by 8.3%.

Meanwhile, in Japan, revenues decreased by 4.3% and amounted to 206 million euros.
L'Occitane expects FY2023 revenue to exceed 2 billion euros, despite lockdowns in China and the company's exit from Russia.
