OREANDA-NEWS  Consumers all over Turkey can enjoy an even wider range of high–quality Russian food products - as part of the program to promote Russian food products through the demonstration and tasting pavilions of the agro-industrial complex, the product line is expanding on one of the largest Turkish e–commerce e-commerce platforms - Trendyol, the Russian Export Center (part of VEB.RF) reports.

"Today, more than 10 Russian companies and 50 product names are represented in the national store, and this list is constantly updated with new product categories, including instant cereals, drying, mineral water, etc.," the message says.

At the end of 2023, the operator of the agro-industrial complex pavilion in Turkey joined the program for the development of a network of national REC stores on international marketplaces, launching the operation of such national stores with Russian goods on key retail electronic trading platforms in Turkey, including Trendyol.

With the expansion of the product line, sales cover the entire geography of Turkey. According to statistics from visits and search queries to the Russian national store on the Turkish Trendyol platform, interest in "Made in Russia" products has increased by 35% over the past six months. It is especially encouraging that 40% of sales now fall on small towns and villages, which indicates a high demand for Russian products in the most remote corners of the country.

"We see a steady interest in Russian food products not only in megacities, but also in small towns in Turkey. This confirms that our products are in demand all over the country. We are glad that we can offer Turkish consumers a wide range of high–quality products and hope to further expand our presence in the Turkish market," says a representative of the operator of the agro-industrial complex pavilion in Turkey.

By the end of the year, it is planned to increase the number of products presented on Trendyol by another 15%.
The Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.The Russian Federation) implements a program of national demonstration and tasting pavilions of the agroindustrial complex abroad. More than 120 companies and 2.5 thousand product lines are already represented in this network. Pavilions are present in China, Vietnam, Egypt, the UAE, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Participants can display products on the shelves for free, and the REC promotes the exhibited products, including to retail chains.
