In Russia, the growth of the ready-made food market was predicted

At the same time, in 2017-2023, the growth rate of this market averaged 17 percent per year. For these reasons, most Russians do not have enough free time to cook at home.
In addition, there are more singles in Russia — the number of households consisting of one person increased from 14 million in 2010 to 28.5 million in 2023, the expert added. "Families prefer to cook more often," he explained. The popularity of ready-made food has also been influenced by the growth in the number of small apartments where the size of the kitchen is limited.
