OREANDA-NEWS In Crimea, the former state cottege No. 1 in Lower Oreanda was sold, which was one of the favorite vacation spots of the Secretary General of the CPSU Central Committee, Leonid Brezhnev, Interfax reports.
The summer cottage located in the south of the peninsula was nationalized by local authorities after the annexation of Crimea to Russia in 2014.
As the Minister of Property and Land Relations of the Republic of Crimea Anna Anyukhina told reporters, the object was sold for 1.2 billion rubles.
The plans to sell the former state transfer became known at the end of the last - the beginning of this year. In March, it was reported that proceeds from the sale of about 1 billion rubles were included in the revenues of the Crimean budget for the current year.
The presidential state building was built in 1955 for Nikita Khrushchev, and then became one of the favorite vacation spots of the Secretary General of the CPSU Central Committee Leonid Brezhnev.
