Russian aviation security experts will conduct another check at the airport in the Egyptian resort city of Hurghada. Their arrival is scheduled for late January, al-Masry al-Youm reported. The source clarified that the arrival of the delegation is planned in transit through Cairo between January 20 and 25.

Lomidze drew attention to the fact that information about the inspection of Russian specialists at the Hurghada airport gives hope for the possible opening of Egyptian resorts for Russian tourists, but everything depends on the results of the meeting.

The executive director said: "Any opportunity to go on vacation abroad will now delight both tourists and business. As soon as the actual date for the start of air communication with Egyptian resorts is announced and all existing restrictions are lifted, it will take three to four weeks for tour operators and air carriers. to draw up programs and launch the first flights to the resorts of the Red Sea. "

She noted that not all states encourage citizens to travel to Egypt on vacation, but it itself is open to foreign guests.

The representative of ATOR noted that the country has certain requirements for compliance with safety standards related to COVID-19, but "they do not greatly limit the possibilities of guests."
