Yandex Market noted that sales of vinyl records on their marketplace increased 1.8 times in 12 months compared to 2022. In turn, Ozon told about the growth of sales of vinyl players 2.1 times in quantitative terms. At the same time, the average cost of such equipment on the marketplace fell by 9 percent over this period of time.

Avito reported an increase in user interest in analog media and players by almost 1.5 times in annual terms. At the same time, the demand for CD players has increased 12 times in 12 months at some sites. An increase in demand was also observed in the VHS video recorder segment, experts summarized.

Earlier, the Vedomosti newspaper, citing market participants, reported a sharp increase in another type of technology — smart speakers. In 2023, the demand of Russians for this type of product soared 1.5 times. According to the Marvel Distribution company, in January-November, a total of about 3.4 million smart speakers were sold in the country.
