OREANDA-NEWS Danone has decided to localize the international brand "Activia" under the new name "AktiBio" in the Russian market. Only the brand name and packaging design will change, the taste and composition of the products will remain the same, the company's press service added.

"AktiBio" will continue to be produced according to the previous technology and formulation, the exclusive probiotic strain of Bifidobacterium animalis ssp will remain in the composition of the products. Lactis CNCM-I 2494 in an unchanged amount of 3.4*107 KOE/g, Danone assured.

Localization of the international brand will allow the company to resume investing in the development and support of its products in Russia.
