Cybersecurity specialists in the field of IT are most in demand in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS Information security specialists have become the most in-demand employees in Russian IT companies, 54% of managers surveyed are looking for them, and system analysts are needed in 53% of cases, according to the materials of the research center.
"The Research Center asked managers of Russian IT companies which specialists they need more often than others... According to the study, it turned out that the most popular IT specialists are information security specialists, 54% of respondents are looking for them. There is almost the same need for system analysts — 53% of managers need them," the study reports.
Managers consider the same cybersecurity specialists (15%), DevOps engineers (16%), senior developers (14%) and Data Science specialists to be the rarest IT specialists.
"Currently, 78% of employers invite IT specialists to a hybrid format of work - partly to the office, partly to remote work, 12% are looking for exclusively remote workers, and 10% offer a purely office format of work. Also, 73% of managers said that in 2023 they plan to increase the salary offer for programmers and testers," the company noted.
In addition, respondents note that the most popular programming languages are Java (60%), JavaScript (47%), C++ (36%).
