Chinese companies have banned Russians from buying drones on AliExpress
Source: OREANDA-NEWS
OREANDA-NEWS Aliexpress platform has stopped selling DJI and Autel drones to customers from Russia. Already purchased drones will be limited in functionality.
DJI product product cards on Aliexpress remained, but after clicking on their links, the store gives an error that "there is no such page". Also, it has now become more difficult to purchase components for DJI and Autel devices. Experts believe that such spare parts will become more expensive, and their delivery time to the Russian Federation will be significantly increased.
On March 1, 2023, as part of the introduction of restrictions, DJI removed applications for managing its devices from the Russian App Store App Store. If users installed this application before blocking, then everything works for them. The DJI app for Android can be downloaded for installation separately.
DJI responds to all complaints that it does not provide its services to Russian users.
On April 26, 2022, the Chinese drone manufacturer DJI (Dajiang Innovation) announced that it would temporarily suspend all its activities in the Russian Federation. The reason is the reassessment of market compliance requirements.
