OREANDA-NEWS  Cherkizovo Group, one of the largest producers of meat and meat products in the Russian Federation, currently exports chicken and turkey products to a number of countries on the African continent and is ready to expand the range at the expense of finished meat products - for example sausages or nuggets, the company's press service told RIA Novosti.

"The company is ready to offer to the African market not only raw products (frozen meat and offal of chicken, turkey, pork), but also a wide range of finished meat products of deep processing: sausages, sausages, nuggets and others," the press service reported.The markets of the African continent are generally an interesting direction for the company. For example, chicken and turkey products are already exported to Ghana, Congo, Benin and Equatorial Guinea. One-time shipments of such products were also to Angola; new ones are in the process of discussion.

"At this year's meeting with Angolan importers, as part of an online business mission, products were discussed, the supply of which would be of interest to both sides. Commercial negotiations on prices and terms of delivery are currently underway," the press service reported.

In 2022, Cherkizovo increased exports of products by 25% in physical terms, exceeding the level of 100 thousand tons; in 2023, foreign shipments may grow by about 10% more, the company reported in January. Currently, deliveries are carried out to more than 20 countries, the press service said, the geography of exports is constantly expanding.
