OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" has conducted the market research of new passenger cars in Moscow, which covered the Luxury segment. As a result of 8 months of 2016 the volume of this market was 568 units, more by 5.2% than the year-ago result.

About 60% of the total volume of the capital market of luxury cars fell on one model - Mercedes-Benz Maybach S-Class. In January - August of this year, the owners of this model became 336 residents of the Russian capital – by 8.4% more than a year ago. In the second place in the list of preferences of Muscovites is Bentley (117 units; + 25.8%), the share of which was 20%.
