OREANDA-NEWS. Passenger car sales increased by 9.5% up to 855,466 vehicles in Europe in August. So, after July dip in sales, European car market back to growth, as European Automobile Manufacturers Association notes. For the first eight months of 2016, it was sold 10,110,731 vehicles, that is by 7.8% more, than a year ago.

According to the European Market Review over August, the Volkswagen became the leader among car manufacturers in the European Union. Last month the Volkswagen sold 106,846 vehicles, that is by 5% more than a year ago.
