OREANDA-NEWS. AUTOSTAT analytic agency undertook a new passenger car market research in August 2016 and has ranked the most popular models.

According to estimation, Hyundai Solaris became the new leader in Moscow market with 1,250 sold vehicles last summer month that is by 16% less than a year ago. KIA Rio, which had been the bestseller since April, moved down to the second place with 940 vehicles (+2.5%). The third place belongs to Volkswagen Polo with 734 vehicles (+50%).

Skoda Octavia is on the fourth place (652 vehicles; +14%), Toyota Camry is on the fifth place (553 vehicles; +63%). TOP-10 also includes: Skoda Rapid (374 vehicles; +32%), Toyota RAV4 (347 vehicles; +17.5%), Nissan X-Trail (330 vehicles; -24%), Renault Duster (329 vehicles; +3%) and Mazda CX-5 (307 vehicles; -26%).
