OREANDA-NEWS. According to AUTOSTAT analytic agency, in August 2016 the Russian market of new trucks was 4,700 vehicles that is by 21.1% more than a year ago. So, the market has increased for five months in a row.

In August the Russian KAMAZ remained the leader with 38% market share in the truck market or 1,800 vehicles in terms of numbers that is by 34.8% more than a year ago. Another domestic brand - GAZ is on the second place with 678 vehicles (+49.7%).
