OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytic agency AUTOSTAT, for the first seven months of 2016 sales of electric cars was 38 vehicles, that is by 29.6% less than a year ago (54 vehicles).

Tesla is the leader of sold electric cars in Russia (16 vehicles), including 15 Tesla Model S sedan and 1 new Tesla Model X crossover. The second place belongs to the Mitsubishi i-MiEV (13 vehicles). Japanese Nissan Leaf with 8 sold vehicles took the third place. There is one more new Renault Twizy  electric car in the Russia market.
