OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a survey of average prices of new cars in Russia in 2016 for the first half of the year. This study included 35 best-selling brands, and the weighted average price for each brand was calculated based on the average values of the recommended price of the distributor and sales of each model (without breakdown on the modifications).

According to the study in January - June of this year the average price of a new car in Russia was 1.36 million rubles, which is more by 17% than in the same period of 2015. The price rose most of all for the cars Land Rover, the weighted average price of which grew by 38%, due to the appearance on the market of more expensive models.
