Nielsen Extends Contract With Meijer As Sole Analytics Provider
OREANDA-NEWS. Nielsen (NYSE: NLSN) announced today a renewal of contract services covering metrics for all of Meijer's 227 supercenters and grocery stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin. With this extended agreement, Nielsen will continue its long standing relationship with Meijer and serve as the company's sole provider of consumer insights and analytics with an expanded retainer of services.
Nielsen has expanded its engagement with Meijer to amplify its custom collaboration program (CCRP), a robust analytical platform for Meijer vendors to gather sales and customer insights specific to the company's product hierarchy and geography. Additionally, this enhanced relationship will grow Nielsen's dedicated account service team and provide a Meijer a more robust data universe with access to Nielsen Answers On Demand (AOD).
