Zuckerberg to hold his first Facebook Live Q&A
But next Tuesday, he'll do his first Q&A via Facebook Live, the live-streaming video service the social network has been intensely pushing lately. It will start at 11:30 a.m. PT. People on Facebook can leave their questions on Zuckerberg's post announcing the Q&A.
Facebook has invested heavily in its Live service, which lets people broadcast a video feed from their phones directly to their Facebook pages. The service competes primarily with Twitter's Periscope app. The company is touting Live so much that it has even rejiggered its all-important News Feed algorithms to make sure Facebook Live videos are at the top.
Facebook has been embroiled in some controversy in recent weeks, including accusations that its trending news section is biased against conservative news and uproar over board member Peter Thiel backing wrestler Hulk Hogan's lawsuit against Gawker Media. So Zuckerberg may face questions on those topics.
But what all this really means is, Zuckerberg will join the ranks of Chewbacca mom and the exploding watermelon.
