OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2016. Landmark Group, a Cognizant client, won two prestigious awards in the UAE for an Enterprise Reporting (ER) solution developed by Cognizant.

The Dubai-based international retail and hospitality conglomerate won CPI Media Group’s 2014 ICT Achievement Award for Retail Deployment of the Year and ITP Publishing’s 2014 Arabian Computer News (ACN) Arab Technology Award for Retail and Trading Implementation of the Year.

The awards were received on behalf of Landmark Group by the company’s CIO, Kirit Shah.

The ER solution provides Landmark Group with a single source of data for one-click analytical information anytime, anywhere, as well as for all downstream applications, such as planning and budgeting.

ICT Achievement Awards recognized IT heads and companies that are setting the trend for everyone else to follow in the region. 

Winners were selected based on a number of criteria, ranging from innovation, logic and far-sightedness in the use of available resources, to consistent short-term and long-term ROI for their firms or end-user customers.

The ACN Arab Technology Awards recognized the outstanding work in the Middle East enterprise market carried out over the past 12 months across 15 categories.

Another Cognizant solution developed for Emirates NBD won the ACN Arab Technology Award for Banking Implementation of the Year.
