OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2016. The Retail Order Process (RFTY) routing strategy is designed to enhance execution quality and benefit retail investors by providing price improvement opportunities to retail order flow.

Currently, Retail Order Process users may enter extended hours orders, which may execute, route, or post to the book prior to the beginning of regular hours trading. Starting June 6, 2016, Nasdaq will offer additional functionality to market participants using the RFTY strategy during extended hours trading that will allow their orders to become active at 8:00 a.m. ET.
