Today, TubeMogul (NASDAQ:TUBE), announced that it is one of the first video advertising software platforms to join Twitter's pre-roll ads program, providing brand marketers the opportunity to purchase real-time ads that precede in-Tweet video content posted by over 200 premium sports, TV, and digital publishers. The capability is available to any TubeMogul U.S. client, with global support expected to be added later in 2016.
The partnership enables marketers to consolidate their entire brand advertising budget through TubeMogul's self-serve software platform and holistically plan, buy and measure their video advertising on Twitter alongside existing linear TV, digital video, Facebook and Instagram video and display advertising initiatives.
Through the integration, TubeMogul clients will be able to access Twitter inventory either via TubeMogul-served ads or via third-party VAST tags, a functionality unique to TubeMogul. Marketers can easily scale video reach, advertise on live second-screen content as publishers post in real-time, and target self-declared fans that have explicitly expressed interest in specific content. Targeting options include demographics, zip-code-level geographies,
specific devices and over 26 IAB content categories.
