The new Design Center features an innovative display concept, which showcases the company’s new interactive design service. This is not just a new location—this is a new design experience.
Ethan Allen’s user-friendly Design Center layout brings its robust website to life. An open floor plan featuring design stations and six large touchscreens invites customers to work directly on projects with the company’s design professionals in a space outfitted with the latest technology.
The new Design Center, which opened its doors this past weekend, represents a new direction for the 83-year-old brand. "This is an Ethan Allen some people may not recognize," says the company’s Chairman, President and CEO Farooq Kathwari. "The products are relaxed and relevant to today's lifestyles, the technology on the floor is state-of-the-art, and the Design Center itself is located where our clients live and play."
The Design Center displays hundreds of all-new designs in “shops” and inspirational room settings. Six design professionals from the previous location will staff the new space and the company is looking to hire two additional qualified design candidates to round out its staff. The design team can help as little or as much as a client likes to facilitate the creative process and take the guesswork out of design. In-store and in-home consultations are complimentary, as always.
"Our new Design Center will make for a more exciting shopping experience,” says Amy Franks, Vice President of Ethan Allen’s Northeast region. “It’s easily accessible via Rte. 132 and is going to appeal to our loyal clients as well as new customers who have never considered us before.”
