OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the market of passenger cars with mileage in Russia for the first quarter of 2016. This study encompassed the used SUVs and crossovers, by the result of which it was made a rating of the most popular models.

According to the study, the best-selling vehicle of SUV segment in the secondary market is still SUV LADA 4x4, the market volume of which was 22.8 thousand units in January - March of this year, which is slightly more (+ 0.3%) than the result of a year ago. In the second place there is another SUV from Togliatti - Chevrolet Niva, which was sold in amount of 15.6 thousand vehicles, an increase of 15.6%. The third position in the rankings is occupied by Toyota RAV4 crossover with 8.3 thousand units (+ 36.1%).

Then there are two more models of Toyota - Land Cruiser (7,8 thousand units; + 24%) and Land Cruiser Prado (7,3 thousand units; + 26.1%.), which closes the top five. The top-10 of the Russian market of used SUVs and crossovers in the first quarter of 2016 also includes: Nissan X-Trail (6,4 thousand units; + 24,8%), Honda CR-V (6,4 thousand units;+14,1%), Nissan Qashqai (5,7 thousand units; + 45%), KIA Sportage (5,4 thousand units; + 38.6%) and Mitsubishi Outlander (5,2 thousand units; + 27%).
