OREANDA-NEWS. communications consultancy Charlotte Street Partners has appointed two Associate Partners and an Associate, and created a new Media Training and Client Films practice. 

John Boothman joins as an Associate Partner, Head of Media Training and Client Films, after a career in the BBC. 

Harriet Moll joins as an Associate Partner from Shelter Scotland, and previously more than a decade of experience as a senior broadcast journalist in London and Italy with Bloomberg, CNBC and MTV. 

Stuart Taylor joins as an Associate, from the office of outgoing Labour MSP Cara Hilton, having impressed in the company's recent recruitment competition. 

Charlotte Street Partners was formed by Founding Partners, Malcolm Robertson and Andrew Wilson, in January 2014.

John Boothman 

John Boothman is one of Scotland's most experienced journalists and programme makers, and has worked at the most senior levels of news broadcasting in the UK. In a career spanning more than thirty years with the BBC, he played a central role in developing BBC Scotland's news coverage on television, radio and digital platforms, and was a member of the Executive Board of BBC Scotland and the senior leadership team of the BBC.  Editor of an extensive array of programmes, including: daily news programmes, the coverage of major live events, political and social affairs debates, investigations, documentaries, political programmes, party conferences, and election output. 

As Head of News and Current Affairs of BBC Scotland, he was the editorial lead and senior manager of the largest news operation in Scotland, with more than two hundred staff across ten locations as well as business output, weather, travel and sport news on radio, TV and online. 

Harriet Moll 

Harriet began her career with Bloomberg TV in London in 2000 and went on to co-present and produce "World Business" with John Defterios, a weekly show syndicated around the world, airing on CNBC in Europe.   As a broadcast journalist working in business and entertainment in the UK and Italy, including 5 years with MTV in Milan, Harriet had significant interview experience. Harriet also developed media strategy and content for corporate clients including Versace, The European House, Ambrosetti and Brioni before moving to the voluntary sector in 2012.  As Head of Communications and Development for an Italian NGO working in the Western Balkans and the Middle East, Harriet fundraised and built stakeholder relationships for anti-radicalisation and minority rights projects funded by the European Commission. 

Harriet returned to her native Scotland to build a new major gifts fundraising team for Shelter in 2014.  Harriet sits on the advisory board for Street Soccer Scotland and is a founding trustee of The Glencruitten Cathedral of Trees.  Harriet holds a law degree from King's College London and a Masters in Fundraising from the University of Bologna. 

Stuart Taylor 

Stuart spent over a year as Policy and Press Officer for Scottish Labour's Shadow Minister for Children and Young People, Cara Hilton, where he had overall responsibility for the Dunfermline MSP's media strategy. Stuart graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2010 in Economics. Alongside his undergraduate studies, Stuart worked as Campaigns Intern for Jo Swinson MP, helping alongside Jo's team to ensure her successful re-election to the House of Commons in 2010.  After a period in local government procurement, Stuart returned to higher education, completing his MA in Political Communication at Cardiff University in 2015. During his time in Wales, he undertook communications projects for the Federation of Small Businesses and was a member of the broadcast team at Sky News as part of their UK General Election coverage.
