OREANDA-NEWS. In April of 2016 the best-selling model in Russia in the segment of SUVs and crossovers (SUV) became Renault Duster, which was sold in amount of 4453 units - less by 3% than the year before.

Second place was occupied by another crossover - Toyota RAV4, which was sold in amount of 2874 units, by showing an increase of 42.2%. The SUV Chevrolet Niva is quite a bit behind of it with a score of 2866 units (-4.8%), which has finished the third one eventually. At the fourth position of the April rating of the most popular models in the SUV segment there is VAZ LADA 4x4 SUV (1855 units; -41.3%). The five leaders also includes KIA Sportage (1624 units; -24.8%).

If we consider the statistics for 4 months of 2016, the Renault Duster is the leader of Russian market in the SUV segment. During this time, its sales were 15266 units, which is more by 13.6% than a year ago.
