OREANDA-NEWS. March of 2016 was the best for the market of new LCV in Russia for the first time since December, 2014. The market volume was 7 thousand units, which is more by 3.7% than a year before. According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", the last time the positive dynamics of this market was fixed 15 months ago - only in December of 2014 (+ 4.2%).

Each month of 2015 the Russian market of light commercial vehicles showed a negative trend: in January (-25.6% compared to January 2014); February (-42.3%); March (-38.7%); April (-42.8%); May (-34.2%); June (-6.6%); July (-25.4%); August (-27.8%); September (-26.5%); October (-39.7%); November (-42.1%); December (-44%). In January of 2016 the LCV market fell by 34.5%, and in February – by 4.9%.

"Market growth in March of this year is connected mainly with the low comparative base of the previous period. The fact is that at the beginning of 2015 due to the devaluation of the ruble in the market it was observed the market activity, which went into decline in February - March. Then monthly volumes of LCV market were less than 7 thousand units. This resulted a positive trend that we are seeing now", - said the head of the press service of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", Azat Timerhanov.
