OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the import and export of passenger cars by legal entities to / from Russia by the results of 2015 and it was found the major directions of supply. Therewith, it was not taken into account the countries of the Customs Union (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan).

Last year, to the territory of our country it was imported 299,632 passenger cars. The third part of this volume is belonged to Japan, which is equivalent to 97 484 units. Import from Germany is approximately half less (50 137 units), the share of which is 17%. More than 20 thousand passenger cars come to us from the UK (9%), the US (8%) and the Czech Republic (7%). The share of South Korea's imports reaches 6%, and Hungary and China have by 3% each. The share of the rest countries is 14%.

From Russia automakers exported 20 547 cars in 2015. The highest share of the Russian export is occupied by Azerbaijan (27%), where it was sent 5523 cars. Every sixth car was delivered to Egypt (3230 units), one out of seven - to Ukraine (2962 units), and every tenth - to Latvia (2050 units). We also note that among the major directions of machinery exports from Russia the special place is occupied by Lebanon, whose share was 7% in the last year. China has 4% of the total amount, while Germany and Uzbekistan - 3% each. The share of the rest countries in total is 16%.
