Another Popular Country will Open for Russian Tourists
OREANDA-NEWS. Russian tourists will be able to visit Jordan if they pass a PCR test for coronavirus or provide a certificate of vaccination. This is reported by TASS with reference to the consular section of the Jordanian Embassy in Moscow.
As explained in the embassy, tests for COVID-19 must be passed 72 hours before departure, as well as re-tested upon arrival in the country. At the same time, the Jordanian Embassy clarified that if the traveler has already been vaccinated, then one does not need to take another test.
Experts also noted that certificates of vaccination with the Russian drug "Sputnik V" are accepted for entry, while quarantine upon arrival is not required.
The diplomatic mission indicated that although quarantine is not required upon arrival, there is a curfew in the country from 23:00 to 06:00 (the time coincides with Moscow), which is also mandatory for tourists.
It is clarified that there is no direct flight between Russia and Jordan now. However, the country can be reached via Egypt or Turkey.
At the moment, Russian tourists will be able to visit Austria, Hungary, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Morocco, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Jordan, China, North Macedonia, Moldova, Morocco, Serbia, Slovenia, Thailand, Croatia, Montenegro, as well as Cyprus and the Maldives.
