OREANDA-NEWS. The cost of tourist services in Russia in 2021, under a favorable scenario for the development of the situation with the coronavirus pandemic, may increase by at least 10-15% compared to the previous year. Statistical calculations of tour operators confirm this forecast, reports the Association of Tour Operators of the Russian Federation.

In January, at the stage of early booking of vouchers, the cost of accommodation in hotels increased by 3 to 20% compared to the indicator of the first month of 2020. At the same time, the average increase in prices for accommodation in the Black Sea resorts of the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea exceeded last year's figures by 10%.

All tour operators claim, that with high rates of filling hotels and resorts, accommodation in them after the end of the early booking promotion will increase in price by an average of 25%. They believe that Russian hotels are characterized by dynamic pricing.

Earlier it became known, that tourist trips to the countries, opened for air traffic, are not possible yet. We are talking about Finland, India, Qatar, Vietnam, with which Russia has resumed air traffic. Some of these countries can be used as transit hubs. You can only go to Finland for educational or humanitarian purposes, and the country has closed it's borders to other Russians until at least February 9. At the same time, the airport in Helsinki can be used as a transit hub for tourists.
