JKNinc. Expands E-Learning Excellence
Originally established in 2002 as the Justice Knowledge Network, the company began as an Atlantic Innovation Fund project; it was incorporated by Holland College in 2012. In that time, JKNinc. has become an internationally recognized supplier of innovative learning services.
Today, Sean Casey, Member of Parliament for Charlottetown, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), announced support for JKNinc. and its continued expansion. The Government of Canada, through ACOA’s Business Development Program, is providing a \\$138,250 repayable contribution to support the company’s expansion which will fuel new product development and the enhancement of existing services.
As part of the recently launched Atlantic Growth Strategy, the Government of Canada is committed to encouraging innovation in small-and-medium sized businesses in order to stimulate economic growth and create well-paying jobs. This investment builds on this commitment.
