Capgemini Group confirms leadership team appointments
OREANDA-NEWS. June 15, 2016. Patrick Nicolet, formerly Head of the Infrastructure Services business, continues to be a member of the Group Executive Board , in charge of the newly created Competitiveness central department that encompasses Delivery, Industrialization and Procurement. Patrick also now oversees Capgemini’s India operations.
In addition to the global Financial Services business, Thierry Delaporte now oversees Capgemini’s Latin America operations. He has joined the Group Executive Board.
Aruna Jayanthi, formerly Head of Capgemini in India, has taken charge of a new global Business Services unit which combines Capgemini’s BPO organization and IGATE ’s Integrated Technology and Operations Solution (ITOPs) business. Aruna remains on the Group Executive Committee .
Srinivas Kandula, formerly Chief People Officer at IGATE, has replaced Aruna as Head of Capgemini in India and has thus joined the Group Executive Committee.
Srikanth Iyengar, who was leading Europe & Australia at IGATE, is now Capgemini’s Group Sales Director and has become a member of the Group Executive Committee.
He replaces Paul Nannetti who now leads the Cloud Infrastructure Services business.
Dee Burger, formerly Head of Capgemini Consulting’s North America operation, is now in a new Group role as Head of Digital Services and has joined the Group Executive Committee.
Finally, Virginie Regis has succeeded Philippe Grangeon as Group Marketing & Communications Director and has joined the Group Executive Committee. Philippe Grangeon has taken on the role of special advisor to the Chairman and CEO, Paul Hermelin.

Biographies
Dee Burger
Head of Digital Services
Member of the Group Executive Committee
Dee Burger was appointed Head of Digital Services and member of the Group Executive Committee in January 2016. As the new Head of Digital, one of the key business priorities for the Group, Dee oversees Digital Customer Experience (DCX), Insights and Data (I&D) and the Digital Manufacturing offer.
Dee held the position Head of Capgemini Consulting in North America, the global strategy and transformation consulting arm of the Capgemini Group, from 2015.
Previously, Dee led the Innovation & Digital Services (IDS) unit in North America, and was the global sector lead for the Telecom, Media and Entertainment practice where he successfully developed Capgemini’s Communication Transformation Platform offering, which has been the basis for the company’s leading position in the telecommunications transformation market.
In his career span of 22 years, Dee has also held positions as vice president in Ernst & Young’s Telecommunications practice and led Gemini Consulting’s Telecommunications practice before joining Capgemini.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga., as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C.
Thierry Delaporte
Group Executive Board member, Financial Services and Latin America
In January 2016, Thierry Delaporte joined the Group Executive Board with responsibility for the Financial Services strategic business unit, as well as overseeing Capgemini’s operations in Latin America.
Thierry has been Head of Capgemini’s Financial Services Strategic Business Unit since 2012. In 2015, he also led the integration of IGATE with Capgemini.
As the Head of Capgemini’s Financial Services organization, one of three top business units across the Group, Thierry is responsible for growing Capgemini’s Financial Services business, client relationships, and offerings globally, while leveraging the principles of Capgemini’s industrialized global delivery model and Rightshore® approach.
Having spent most of his career with Capgemini, Thierry Delaporte has played a key role in driving Capgemini operations and strategic planning in several of the key businesses of Capgemini, across four continents, and has participated in several key transformation programs, the effects of which influence the business today.
Thierry has held various positions at Capgemini: he was COO and Head of Sales for Application Services One (for the UK, Asia Pacific and North America) in 2011, CFO for the Global Outsourcing Business Unit (2009-2010), CFO for North America (2005-2008), CFO of Southern Europe, based in Madrid (2003-2005), CFO and COO for Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydney (2002-2003), CFO for the Asia-Pacific Telecom business (based in Singapore) following the integration of Ernst & Young operations (2000-2002), CFO for Switzerland and Austria, based in Zurich (1997-2000). He joined the Capgemini Group in 1995 working for Capgemini’s local professional services subsidiary Sogeti, as the Group Internal Auditor.
Thierry began his career in 1992 as a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen in Paris and London.
Thierry holds a Masters in Law from the Paris La Sorbonne University and a Masters in Political Sciences from SciencesPo Paris. He is also co-founder and president of a non-profit organization (Life Project 4 Youth, Alliance & USA).
Srikanth Iyengar
Group Sales Director
Member of the Group Executive Committee
Srikanth Iyengar was appointed Group Sales Director and a Member of the Group Executive Committee in January 2016.
Prior to joining Capgemini, Srikanth served as the Senior Vice-President and Head of Europe & Australia at IGATE and was a member of IGATE’s Executive Council.
In 2014, Srikanth was the Regional Head for European Financial Services for Infosys Limited before joining IGATE. He also held the additional responsibility as Infosys’s Head of UK and was a Member of the European Regional Leadership Council. In prior roles with Infosys spanning both North America and Europe, Srikanth helped establish the Strategic Global Sourcing group and also headed global sales for all USD 50M+ TCV deals across the company. From 1997 - 2000, prior to joining Infosys, Srikanth worked in the CPG industry at ITC Limited.
Srikanth is a member of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)'s India Business Forum in the UK, and also of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP)'s Regional Advisory Board. He holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune and a Masters degree in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.
Aruna Jayanthi
Head of Business Services
Member of the Group Executive Committee
Aruna Jayanthi is the Head of Business Services, a new strategic business unit created in January 2016, which provides BPO and Platform (integrated technology and operations) services based on Capgemini’s IP for various industry segments.
In her former role as Head of Capgemini in India from 2011-2015, she managed the operations of all business units covering consulting, technology and outsourcing services in the country, to support the Group’s growth agenda and strengthen India’s position as an industrialization and innovation hub. During this time, there was a significant increase in Indian integration, performance and capabilities with headcount rising from 32,000 to 85,000.
Since January 2014, Aruna Jayanthi has also served as chair of the country board for Capgemini Sweden.
Prior to this, Aruna was the Global Delivery Officer for Outsourcing services at Capgemini where she improved the quality, productivity and profitability of the outsourcing operations for Capgemini worldwide.
Aruna joined Capgemini in early 2000 and was part of the core team that initiated and setup the offshore capabilities.
She has over 25 years of experience in the IT services industry and has worked in key roles in multinational and Indian system integrator companies. Aruna has also been the Chairperson of the Board of Governors of the National Institute of Technology Calicut since 2014.
Aruna holds a Masters in Management Studies in Finance from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai.
Srinivas Kandula
Head of Capgemini in India
Member of the Group Executive Committee
Srinivas Kandula was appointed Head of Capgemini in India and a Member of the Group Executive Committee in January 2016.
Prior to Capgemini, he held the role of Chief People Officer, Executive Vice President and Member of the Executive Council successively at IGATE, which he joined in 2007. Srinivas was also responsible for driving IGATE’s Business Strategy, Human Resources Management, Quality Management and Marketing portfolios globally.
Srinivas has played a key role in the Capgemini-IGATE integration as well as that of IGATE-Patni. Prior to joining IGATE, he held senior leadership roles at Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. and Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd.
Srinivas is a Doctoral Fellow from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He has published over 60 papers and 8 books on Management in international publications and in multiple languages.
Paul Nannetti
Head of Cloud Infrastructure Services
Member of the Group Executive Committee
Paul Nannetti was appointed Head of the Cloud Infrastructure Services strategic business unit in January 2016.
From January 2012 to the end of 2015, Paul was Global Sales and Portfolio Director handling Sales Management, Alliances and Sectors as well as having overall responsibility for all the Group Global Service Lines and Portfolio Strategy.
In January 2009 Paul was made responsible for the Group Industrialization program, while also acting as Sales Director for the Financial Services and Asia Pacific strategic business unit. In October 2009 he was appointed leader of the global Business Information Management Service Line and then took responsibility for Capgemini Global Service Lines overall.
In October 2004 Paul joined the leadership of the Northern Europe and Asia Pacific strategic business unit, initially as head of Nordic operations and also as Sales Director. Then from January 2007 he was General Manager of the Consulting division.
Paul joined Capgemini UK in 1994 and was initially responsible for the finance function. He then led the UK Business Process Outsourcing and e-Business divisions, before moving to international roles in the Group, including leading the European CRM practice and Global Life Sciences sector.
Paul began his career as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in Ireland and then Australia. Following that he then spent 10 years with IBM Europe in a variety of financial and operational roles.
Patrick Nicolet

In January 2016 Patrick Nicolet took charge of the newly created Competitiveness central department that encompasses Delivery, Industrialization and Procurement. He also oversees Capgemini’s India operations.
Between January 2011 and December 2015, Patrick led the Global Infrastructure Services strategic business unit and was responsible for the Latin America business for Capgemini from January 2013.
Patrick headed Technology Services activities for Nordic and Central Europe from 2009 to 2010. Previously, in 2004 he was appointed Group Sales Director and in 2006 joined Capgemini’s Group Executive Committee. In 2001, he was named VP for Global Business Development of the newly formed Telecoms, Media and Networks (TMN) Global Business Unit of Capgemini Ernst & Young.
Between 1994 and 1997, Patrick worked as an independent consultant for several European technology corporations, with a focus on business development and corporate recovery. He joined Ernst & Young Consulting in 1997 as head of the Corporate Recovery practice in Switzerland, before his scope shifted to managing the Telecom, Media and Networks business in Switzerland, Germany and Eastern Europe.
Patrick began his career in venture capital. In 1986, he was appointed Director of the first Swiss private and government-funded company for technology transfer, and was honoured as “Global Leader for Tomorrow” in 1993, by the World Economic Forum.
Patrick graduated in 1983 with a Bachelors degree in Law from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
Virginie Regis
Group Marketing & Communications Director
Member of the Group Executive Committee
In January 2016 Virginie was appointed Group Marketing & Communications Director and joined the Group Executive Committee.
Prior to this, Virginie was Vice President and Group Branding, Marketing and Digital Director at Capgemini, where she focused on brand awareness and innovative marketing programs to support business development. She contributed to developing brand visibility on social media and digitalized client interactions through the Capgemini Expert Connect platform, connecting 900+ experts with the market.
From 2007 to 2014, Virginie was Operations Manager, working with the Group Marketing and Communications Director, responsible for driving the transformation of the function across the Group. She created a large internal creative agency in India of 100+ people, serving all marketing and communications units of the group today. Virginie also contributed to corporate communications assets for the CEO.
Prior to this Virginie spent ten years as a consultant in Strategy, Marketing and Sales at Capgemini Consulting. Virginie began her career in 1999 as a consultant in Financial Services with Ernst & Young.
Virginie holds a Masters degree in Finance and Economics from Paris II - Panth?on Assas University (Paris, 1999).
