OREANDA-NEWS Aleksey Ryabchin, adviser to the head of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, said that 140 Russian gas stations will be transferred to a state-owned company to create a state network of gas stations. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Ukraine 24 TV channel.
“Now there are about 130-140 gas stations that were taken from Russian assets, in the process of being transferred to Naftogaz,” he said.
It is not known which gas stations of which Russian companies are in question. As Ryabchin noted, this summer "the issue will be finally resolved."
Earlier it was reported that the state network of gas stations (gas stations) will appear in Ukraine in the coming months. This was announced by the head of the national joint-stock company "Naftogaz of Ukraine" Yuriy Vitrenko.
According to him, the state should not be present on the market, but when there is a risk of collusion, abuse and dominance of its position, the emergence of a new state player will help stabilize prices.
In early May, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky demanded to eliminate queues at the country's gas stations. The head of state said that uninterrupted fuel supplies to the country would be established in the near future.
