OREANDA-NEWS  The total debt of all residents of Russia to "Gazprom Mezhregiongaz" for gas, as of 1 December 2018, amounted to 37.9 billion rubles this the representative of the company told.

"The overdue debt of the population on 1 December 2018 totals 37.9 billion rubles", — he said. At the same time, for 11 months of last year, as indicated in the press service, the debt of Russians increased by 7.8 billion rubles. - January 1, 2018, similar data on the debt were estimated at 30.1 billion rubles.

Among legal entities, Gazprom Mezhregiongaz counted the largest number of debtors in the Moscow region. There, according to the company's estimates, by December last year there were 118 debtor organizations. Their total debt for gas, according to materials on the website of the "daughter" of "Gazprom" amounted to more than RUB 1 billion the Amount of debt each company ranged from 10 million rubles to 600 million rubles.

Also among the leaders in the number of debtor companies were Tver region (66 enterprises), Perm region (47) and Krasnodar region (39). Least of all, debtor companies were counted in Kalmykia, Ingushetia, Altai and Sakhalin, as well as in the Tyumen region and the Kamchatka territory (one debtor each).

Earlier, on January 18, on the website of the Prosecutor's office of Chechnya, it was reported that the factory district court of Grozny satisfied the claim of the Department to the company "Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Grozny" and decided to write off debts from the population for gas for 9 billion rubles. This decision was explained by the Prosecutor's office by the recognition that the debt collection is "hopeless". In addition, the requirements of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz could cause protests, the Ministry noted.
