OREANDA-NEWS The cost of gasoline on the St. Petersburg International Commodity Exchange (SPbMTSB) increased at the first auction of the week, and diesel fuel also rose in price, it follows from these auctions.

Thus, the price of the Ai-92 brand according to the territorial index of the European part of Russia on Monday rose by 1.21%, to 59,393 rubles per ton, Ai-95 - by 0.98%, to 67,230 rubles. At the same time, over the past week, the cost of Ai-92 and Ai-95 gasoline decreased by 6.1% and 9.5%, respectively.

Also, following the results of Monday's trading session, the price of diesel fuel increased by 0.72%, to 60,340 rubles per ton. And just last week it fell by 3.58%.

At the same time, a ton of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) rose in price by 1.29%, to 36,600 rubles, and fuel oil - by 0.04%, to 26,045 rubles. The price of jet fuel decreased by 0.91% to 80,546 rubles per ton.

Russia has a ban on the export of gasoline abroad, except for the EAEU countries. It was introduced on March 1. At the end of May, the ban was temporarily lifted, and since August its effect has been resumed. The Government decided to extend the embargo until the end of the year to maintain market stability during the period of seasonal demand and scheduled repairs at the refinery.

At the same time, it is not necessary to impose an embargo on the export of diesel fuel, according to relevant departments. Vitaly Korolev, Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), stated that there are no prerequisites for a ban now, but he noted the volatility of prices for this product in some regions of the Russian Federation.
