OREANDA-NEWS  The technical services of the Polish operator of the Druzhba oil pipeline PERN have restored the full functionality of the damaged pipeline thread, the company said on its official website.

Earlier it was reported that one of the threads of the Druzhba oil pipeline in the direction of Germany was disconnected in the evening due to a leak in Poland. "The technical services of PERN on Monday evening fully restored the work of the damaged pipeline thread," the statement said.

PERN emergency services have been carrying out repair work on the damaged site in the Hodech area since Saturday. This is the highway along which oil from offshore supplies goes in a westerly direction. By Monday, the installation of a new section of the pipeline was completed and its welding began.

The second line of this pipeline works without violations.
