OREANDA-NEWS  Anadolu agency, with reference to the Department for Control and Regulation of the Turkish Energy Market, which published data from October this year, reports that Russia this month turned out to be the main supplier of oil and petroleum products to the country's market. The total volume of imports of products of the Russian oil industry amounted to 2.174 million tons. The rest of the largest suppliers of the local market provide significantly smaller shares of it. These are Iraq with 860 thousand tons and Kazakhstan with 226,567 tons.

At the same time, in general, according to the agency, imports of oil and petroleum products in October decreased by 0.04% compared to last year - to 4,203,519 tons. The situation is similar with the import of crude oil. At the same time, sales of petroleum products in Turkey for the specified period fell by 8.7%, to 2,652,239 tons.
