OREANDA-NEWS. Rosneft reported a decrease in oil production in July, particularly at Yuganskneftegaz, due to restrictions on the input of raw materials to the Transneft trunk pipeline system.

 “After repeated warnings, we were forced to restrict the delivery of Rosneft’s subsidiary in July in the amount of 0.5% of its annual production, i.e., in an amount easily compensated before the end of the year if our partners change their work on  oil deliveries, "said Igor Demin, spokesman for the oil transportation company.

 In April, Belneftekhim complained of a sharp deterioration in the quality of oil from Russia supplied by the Druzhba pipeline (its Russian segment is operated by Transneft).  Transneft stated that the exported oil was deliberately contaminated with organochlorine compounds.  In fact the incident opened a criminal case.
