OREANDA-NEWS Within the framework of the IX Eastern Economic Forum, Rosneft and Rosseti signed an agreement of intent on cooperation in the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. This is stated in the message of Rosneft.

The document assumes the placement of fast charging stations for electric vehicles at Rosneft gas stations in the regions of Russia.

Further infrastructure development will allow drivers to charge electric vehicles at the extensive network of Rosneft gas stations in Russia. The company will continue to expand the geography of charging stations in accordance with demand forecasts and the development of the electric vehicle market.

Currently, Rosneft's retail network has 80 electric charging stations at gas stations in 12 regions of Russia from St. Petersburg to the Trans-Baikal Territory. Most of the stations support the fast charging function — they are able to charge the battery of an electric car up to 80 percent in just 20 minutes.

The agreement with PJSC ROSSETI was signed in continuation of the agreements reached by the parties in 2021.

The Rosneft gas station brand is one of the leaders in recognition and quality of fuel in the country. The geography of Rosneft's retail business covers 61 regions of Russia. The Company's network of operating gas stations includes about 3,000 stations.

Expanding the range of customer services is one of the key areas of Rosneft's retail business. The company is systematically developing the related service. Currently, at gas stations managed by Rosneft, you can not only refuel and wash your car, but also drink freshly brewed coffee, have a snack, purchase goods in a store or use other convenient services.
