OREANDA-NEWS. The cost of the nearest futures for Brent crude oil on the London ICE exchange fell 3.63%, to $ 30.41 per barrel as of 15:30 Moscow time. The minimum value during the trading session was $ 29.95. Futures for WTI American crude oil for June delivery is down 5.5% to $ 23.21 a barrel. 

Earlier reports, Junior Texas oil futures WTI are trading at $ 24.68 a barrel. Since the start of trading on May 6, the maximum has been fixed at $ 26.08. Oil prices began to rise gradually after the March and April collapses from May 1, following the entry into force of a new OPEC deal to limit production. At the first stage, until July, the agreement provides for a total reduction by its participants of production of 9.7 million barrels per day, which was a record decrease in history.
