OREANDA-NEWS. The growth in demand for petroleum products is observed in the countries of Central and Northern Europe. This was announced by Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak in an interview with the Russian television channel.

“Today, by the way, we are celebrating, literally today we saw information that in the countries of Central and Northern Europe there are already some such“ sprouts ”of positive growth in demand”, he said. “If there at gas stations, the drop in demand was up to 70% "Today, in some countries, we see a decrease in this indicator to 60-65%".

The head of the ministry added that if demand begins to grow, "the situation will immediately become more clear and the markets will become more stable".
