OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus can raise the tariff rate for pumping Russian oil. With such a proposal was made by General Director of JSC "Gomeltransneft Druzhba" Viktor Borisenko.

In his opinion, it is possible to compensate for losses from the recent case of the Friendship pipeline by increasing the cost of oil transit.

Earlier, the Polish company Orlen stated that they would demand compensation for damage caused by “dirty oil”. An appeal for compensation will be sent to Russian suppliers.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko noted that the issue of compensation for losses from the supply of poor-quality fuel in the Druzhba pipeline should be resolved with the Russian Federation as with the subjects of business relations.
