OREANDA-NEWS  Juniper decided to terminate the contract with Gazprom Export after the decision of the Stockholm arbitration in its favor, the German company said.

The arbitration tribunal in Stockholm ruled on June 7 and granted Uniper the right to terminate contracts and awarded it more than 13 billion euros in compensation for volumes of gas not supplied by Gazprom Export since mid-2022.

The process was regulated by Swiss law. The decision of the arbitration is legally binding and final.
