The press service of the national energy company Ukrenergo earlier reported that rolling blackouts according to schedules, as well as emergency ones, will be introduced on Wednesday throughout Ukraine. The company warned that the periods of outages will become longer and urged the population to save electricity.
According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky, more than 30 infrastructure facilities of Ukraine were damaged on November 15 as a result of strikes. On Tuesday, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, said that this attack on the country's energy system was the most massive since the beginning of a special military operation - generation facilities and power transmission systems were destroyed. In this regard, according to him, emergency shutdowns have been introduced in a number of cities of the country.
